JCI strengthens third time this week
JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was seen increasing in the first session of today’s (30/8) trading in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This is the trend that has been sustained for three consecutive days this week.
Based on IDX data quoted today, JCI opened at 6,976.85, shifting positively from 6,957.835 seen yesterday (29/8). The index peaked at 7,003.94 at 9.35 AM WIB.
Positive trend in the capital market is reflected in several indexes, for example, LQ45 that grew 0.49% to 968,796, IDX30 that went 0.57% higher to 502.559, and IDX80 that shifted 0.50% upwards.
Several stocks showing positive trend include stocks of PT Adaro Energy Indonesia Tbk (ADRO), PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA), PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia Tbk (AMOR), PT Astra International Tbk (ASII), and PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT).
Meanwhile, issuers in the red zone consist of PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), PT Anabatic Techonologies Tbk (ATIC), PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), dan PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI), and PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI). (LK/ZH)
