JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was corrected to red zone until the closing on Thursday’s (31/8) first session. JCI once climbed to 6,978.45 at the opening bell at 9 AM WIB, but continued to decline to reach 6,938.77 at 11.55 AM WIB.

Based on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data monitored until 12 PM WIB, the index once floated higher than Wednesday’s (30/8) closing point at 6,966.656. However, the shift was stopped only 20 minutes after morning session began and dropped to 6,963.64.

The negative sentiment towards the market was also seen in several other indexes, including LQ45 that was lowered 0.48% to 959.266, IDX30 that slid 0.43% to 497.977, and IDX80 that scored minus 0.53% to 132,843.

Stocks that arrived at the green zone include PT Astra Agro Lestari Tbk (AALI), PT Bank Raya Indonesia Tbk (AGRO), PT Amman Mineral Internasional Tbk (AMMN), PT Blue Bird Tbk (BIRD), PT Bank QNB Indonesia Tbk (BKSW), and PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS).

Then, stocks that were negatively corrected were PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI), PT Astra Otoparts Tbk (AUTO), PT Adi Sarana Armada Tbk (ASSA), and PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT). (LK/ZH)
