Elnusa concludes seismic survey in Southwest Papua
JAKARTA. PT Elnusa Tbk (ELSA) has completed an ocean seismic survey project in the waters of Sorong Regency, Southwest Papua.
Said project is a part of 3D seismic survey of South Walio Offshore located in the work area operated by Partnership Contract Contractor of Petrogas (Island) Ltd. This project is also a part of an oil and gas resources to discover the most potential oil and gas spots.
Said seismic survey began on July 6, 2023, in Makassar, South Sulawesi. The survey will last 48 days until August 22, 2023.
“We hope all our hard work may generate positive contribution to the discovery of national oil and gas reserves,” Fahzul MH Siregar, Project Head of ELSA.
Meanwhile, Charles Harianto Lumbantobing, Director of Operation of ELSA, also expresses his appreciation towards all field workers involved in this seismic survey of South Walio Offshore. “For next, there will be prospects of several seismic survey projects managed by Elnusa in the remaining months of 2023 and entering 2024,” he added.
