NCKL to form joint venture, owning 36%
JAKARTA - PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) expands its business in the nickel mining industry by introducing a joint venture named PT Karya Tambang Sentosa (KTS).
In the information disclosure quoted Wednesday (6/9), Roy Arman Arfandy, President Director of NCKL, confirms that the ownership percentage of NCKL in KTS is 36% or equal to 4,500 shares worth IDR 450 million. “The company, along with PT Intim Mining Sentosa (IMS) and PT Banyu Bumi Makmur (BMM), is a third unaffiliated party,” he mentioned.
The total KTS’s shares are 12,500 units worth IDR 1.25 billion. IMS has 49% of them, NCKL claims another 36%, leaving the remaining 15% to BMM.
As of June 2023, this company secured revenue of IDR 10.24 trillion, proliferating almost 88.75% from IDR 5.42 trillion seen in June 2022. Its operating profit also rose from IDR 2.70 trillion to IDR 3.07 trillion, while the current year’s net profit shifted slightly from IDR 3.15 trillion to IDR 3.20 trillion. (LK/ZH)
