HRUM’s subsidiary acquires more shares in Mahkota Emas Nickel
JAKARTA - PT Harum Nickel Perkasa, a subsidiary of PT Harum Energy Tbk (HRUM), has acquired 4% of PT Mahkota Emas Nickel’s (MEN) portion in PT Tanito Harum Nickel (THN).
In the information disclosur quoted Thrusday (14/9), Ray A. Gunara, President Director of HRUM, said that the shares acquisition of MEN’s portion in THN is a non-affiliate transaction. “MEN is a subsidiary of HRUM that is established with an intention to be a holding and nickel-mining and nickel-processing investment company,” he said.
THN’s shares purchased by HNP amount to 12,621 units or 4% of THN’s issued and paid-up capital worth IDR 13,335 billion. This transaction will directly and indirectly increase HRUM’s portion in THN from 95% to 99%.
THN was established in 2020 with total assets worth USD 397.50 million as of June 2023. The revenue was accumulated from contracts with users of USD 488.32 million and lease of USD 3.92 million. Its gross profit was recorded at USD 253.35 million, while the current year’s profit reached USD 186.49 million. (LK/ZH)
