Sinar Mas Multifinance issues IDR 1 trillion bonds for refinancing
JAKARTA. PT Sinar Mas Multifinance (SMF), one of the financing companies owned by PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA), will issue Shelf Registration Bonds III Phase II in 2023 with a principal amount of IDR 1 trillion.
SMF will offer these bonds in 2 series, with details of IDR 575 billion for Series A and IDR 425 billion for Series B. The coupon offered for Series A is 10% per year and Series B 10.50% per year. Meanwhile, the tenor offered for Series A is 3 years and Series B is 5 years.
Based on the prospectus submitted, SMF has obtained an "irA+ (Single A Plus) rating from Kredit Rating Indonesia for the bonds to be issued. All funds from the SMF bond issuance will later be used to pay off a number of debts in the form of bonds and bank credit.
SMF has appointed PT Aldiracita Sekuritas Indonesia and PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM) as bond underwriters. Meanwhile PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) was appointed as trustee.
The public offering period for SMF bonds will take place on 5-6 October, 2023. Bond distribution is scheduled for 11 October, 2023 and listing on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) on 12 October, 2023. (KR/LM)
