ERAL to add in another IDR 12.5 billion to subsidiary
JAKARTA. PT Sinar Eka Selaras Tbk (ERAL), a recently publicly listed retail company, has channelled additional investment to one of its subsidiaries, PT Sinar Era Aktif (SEA).
Badar Teguh Mancik Alam, Corporate Secretary of ERAL, said that this capital investment is given coinciding the issuance of series B shares of SEA. Those entire new shares are taken over by the company. "In order to maintain our stock ownership in SEA," he explained in the information disclosure.
The capital investment is placed by ERAL to SEA gradually. On September 14, 2023, the company had reportedly invested IDR 5 billion, while the remaining IDR 7.5 billion was distributed on September 19, 2023.
Prior to this capital injection, ERAL only owned 80% of SEA's shares. Now, after the extra investment, the company now controls 99.96% of SEA, consisting of 0.16% of series A shares and 99.80% of series B shares.
For the record, ERAL was listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on August 8, 2023. In its IPO, it managed to rake in fresh funds of IDR 404.63 billion. (KR/ZH)
