JAKARTA. PT Autopedia Sukses Lestari Tbk (ASLC), the parent company of Caroline.id, a car sale and purchase platform, has given added capital to one of its subsidiaries, PT Autopedia Sukses Gadai (ASG).

Oky Handyko, Corporate Secretary of ASLC, said that the amount of investment is IDR 2.5 billion. With this extra capital, ASG's issued and paid-up capital rises to IDR 4.99 billion. 

"With this additional capital raise, the company expects ASG to expand its business and provide positive contribution to the company," Handyoko mentioned in the official release. 

According to IDNFinancials data, ASLC recorded solid cash and cash equivalent of IDR 291.74 billion at the end of June 2023. Its total assets were said to reach IDR 855.09 billion, while its total equity clocked up to IDR 708.78 billion. 

ASG itself is a company recently formed by ASLC this year. It is projected to be engaged in pawnbroker activities. ASG's total assets before elimination were recorded at IDR 2.44 billion in June 2023. (KR/ZH)
