Delta Dunia Makmur’s subsidiary to repurchase bonds of USD 20.34 million
JAKARTA. PT Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama (BUMA), a subsidiary of PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), has repurchased some of maturing senior bonds due for payment in 2026.
Dian Sofia Andyasuri, Director of DOID, said that this bonds’ repurchase is inititated by BUMA in the open market. The amount of repurchased bonds reached USD 20.43 million, representing 5.11% of the initial principal of the bonds.
“After this buyback, the amount of 2023 bonds outstanding is USD 379.5 million, representing 94.89% of the initial principal of 2026 bonds,” Andyasuri explained in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
For the record, the repurchased bonds have a coupon rate of 7.75%. These bonds are listed on Singapore Stock Exchange (SGX).
According to IDNFinancials record, DOID held onto total cash and cash equivalent of USD 189.3 million as of June 30, 2023, while its total assets and equity clocked up to USD 1.58 billion and USD 250 million, respectively. (KR/ZH)
