JAKARTA. PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk (EMTK), widely known as Emtek, has increased its ownership percentage in PT Sarana Meditama Metropolitan Tbk (SAME).

Titi Maria Rusli, Corporate Secretary of Emtek, said that the portion increase in SAME is carried out through an acquisition of 64.16 million shares, which are equal to 0.37% of issued and paid-up capital of SAME.

The shares acquisition of SAME had been carried out by Emtek in stages, starting from August 3, 2023, until October 9, 2023. The shares acquisition used an average price of IDR 326 to IDR 379 per share.

“The purpose of the transaction (the acquisition of SAME’s shares) is for investment,” Rusli said in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today (11/10).

After this shares acquisition, SAME’s shares owned by Emtek rises to 13.34 billion shares or equal to 77.85%. Prior to this, the company only had 13.27 billion shares in possession, equal to 77.47%. (KR/ZH)
