Entering third quarter, Ancol rebounded
JAKARTA – The performance of PT Pembangunan Jaya Ancol Tbk (PJAA) has been slowly recovering at the end of the third quarter of 2023 after its massive downturn during COVID-19 pandemic. Contributions of each segment have shown rebounds, surpassing records pre-pandemic.
Based on the Financial Report of Q3 2023 quoted today (11/10), the company recorded revenue of IDR 902.56 billion at the end of Q3 2023, increasing from IDR 630.40 billion in 2022. The gross profit also shifted from IDR 343.15 billion to IDR 491.93 billion, while net profit soared from IDR 74.04 billion to IDR 170.80 billion.
Ticket sales generated IDR 636.57 billion, growing from IDR 439.26 billion, followed by revenue from hotel and restaurant of IDR 65.99 billion, also rising from IDR 51.42 billion. Other revenue also reportedly went up from IDR 141.35 billion to IDR 210.68 billion.
During COVID-19 pandemic, this issuer lost IDR 252.12 billion in Q3 2020 and IDR 192.81 billion in Q3 2021. Its revenue was stuck at IDR 305.56 billion and IDR 244.21 billion, respectively. Prior to pandemic, in Q3 2019, it once scored revenue of IDR 975.74 billion and profit of IDR 153.96 billion. (LK/ZH)
