GEMS's subsidiaries obtains facility of IDR 2.2 trillion from Bank Mandiri
JAKARTA. PT Borneo Indobara (BIB) and PT Barasentosa Lestari (BSL), subsidiaries of PT Golden Energy Mines Tbk (GEMS), have scored working capital credit from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI).
Sudin SH, Corporate Secretary of GEMS, reveals that the credit facility granted by BMRI to BIB is worth a maximum of IDR 2.05 trillion, while the credit channelled to BSL is IDR 150 billion.
Said credit facility is equipped with a tenor of 12 months. "The credit facility is given as additional working capital," Sudin mentioned in the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
According to IDNFinancials data, BSL is a company engaged in the coal mining business and operating Mulut Tambang Power Plant. BSL has been operating since 2015 and recorded total assets of USD 148.94 million as of June 30, 2023.
Meanwhile, BIB has been engaged in coal mining industry since 2005. As of June 30, 2023, BIB's total assets were USd 784.89 million. (KR/ZH)
