Medco Energi Internasional to distribute interim dividend of IDR 15 per share
JAKARTA. PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk (MEDC), an oil and gas company, plans to distribute interim dividend for the fiscal year 2023.
This decision was announced by Roberto Lorato, CEO MEDC, in an official statement. “The company will distribute interim dividend for the fiscal year 2023 of DIR 15 per share,” he confirmed.
According to IDNFinancials data, the number of outstanding shares of MEDC is 25.02 billion shares. Therefore, the total interim dividend granted by the company is IDR 375 billion.
Based on recently issued financial report, MEDC booked net profit of USD 242 million at the end of September 2023. Meanwhile, cash and cash equivalent were recorded at USD 666 million.
As of now, 51.72% of MEDC’s shares is under the control of PT Medco Daya Abadi Lestari. Diamond Bridge Pte Ltd is seen following with 21.56% of shares, while PT Kalibiru Lestari Bersama owns another 2.64%, PT Medco Duta 0.12%, and public investors 22.64%. The small remaining portion belongs to several directors and commissioners of MEDC. (KR/ZH)
