JAKARTA - On Friday, November 17, foreign investors decided to release 1.20 billion shares of PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) while purchasing only 400.15 million shares. This share transaction resulted in a net volume of -801.08 million shares for GOTO. Aside from that, GOTO shares significantly contributed to the overall foreign sales volume of around 2.61 billion shares, while the foreign purchase volume was only 1.57 billion shares. As a result, net foreign volume plunged to -1.04 billion shares.

The next share sale was of the integrated media firm PT Media Citra Nusantara Tbk (MNCN), with a net volume of -98.40 million shares. Around 34.40 million shares of PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) were sold in the port and maritime services sector, for a net volume of -30.65 million shares. The subsequent sale of 58.68 million shares of banking business PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) and 31.21 million shares of renewable energy company PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) produced net volumes in the -20 million share range for each issuer.

Meanwhile, foreign investors purchased 85.84 million shares of the telecoms business PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN), resulting in a net volume of 49.40 million shares. These investors also bought approximately 51.54 million shares of the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) with a net volume of 42.86 million shares, followed by the purchase of 35.72 million shares of PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA) in the general mining contractor industry with a net volume of 30.84 million shares. Approximately 31.31 million shares of PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL) in the nickel mining sector were purchased, with a net volume of 24.28 million shares. Finally, foreign investors acquired 18.50 million shares of the stock market company PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM), resulting in a net volume of around 16.68 million shares. (KD)
