JAKARTA. PT Goto Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) through one of its subsidiaries, namely PT Rekan Anak Bangsa (RAB), has distributed loan facilities to PT Energi Kreasi Bersama (EKB) or Electrum.

The loan value channeled to Electrum was IDR 45 billion. This loan has interest of 10.95% per year with an availability period of 3 years from the signing of the credit agreement. Meanwhile, the loan term will last for 5 years.

For the record, Electrum is a joint venture company founded by GOTO and PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA). Electrum runs a business in the electric vehicle sector.

"The transaction does not have the potential to disrupt the company's business continuity," said R A Koesoemohadiani, GOTO Corporate Secretary, in his official statement.

In the future, this loan facility can only be used by Electrum for operational needs and capital expenditures. This includes capital expenditure needs carried out by Electrum's subsidiaries.

Currently, GOTO through RAB owns 50% of Electrum shares. Then TOBA through PT Karya Baru TBS also owns 50% of the shares. (KR/LM)
