SMI to issue IDR 1 trillion bonds
JAKARTA - PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) will issue Shelf Registration Bonds III Phase IV 2023 amounting to IDR 1 trillion. These debt securities will be offered in two series starting in the next two weeks (8-11/12).
In the information disclosure quoted on Monday (27/11), Series A was offered at IDR 400 billion with interest of 6.45% per year for 370 days and Series B was offered at IDR 600 billion with interest of 6.70% per year for three years.
For this plan, the company has achieved an idAAA (Triple A) rating from PT Pemeringkat Efek Indonesia (Pefindo). The underwriters appointed include PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas, PT DBS Vickers Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Mandiri Sekuritas, and PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM), as well as PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) as Trustee.
The proceeds from the issuance of these bonds will be used entirely to finance infrastructure, including drinking water installations, centralized wastewater management systems, electricity and telecommunications and information technology.
As of September 2023, SMI recorded total assets of IDR 115.08 trillion and total liabilities of IDR 72.99 trillion. Revenue was recorded at IDR 5.59 trillion, up from the same period in 2022 of IDR 4.30 trillion and net profit at IDR 1.77 trillion, up from IDR 1.63 trillion. (LK/LM)
