SBI Holdings to raise portion in Venteny
JAKARTA – SBI Holdings Inc., Japan, has increased its portion in PT Venteny Fortuna International Tbk (VTNY) worth IDR 2.59 billion.
Zasa Pinkan Kinanti, Corporate Secretary of VTNY, said that the purchased shares are categorised as direct ownership with the purpose of investment. After this transaction, SBI Holdings’ portion climbed to 0.78%, worth 48.57 million shares, from the initial 0.59% or 37.14 million.
The number of purchased shares reaches 11.42 million shares with transaction value worth IDR 227 per share. Cumulatively, the investment is worth IDR 2.5 billion.
As of November 2023, VTNY’s shares were reported at 6.26 billion with controlling shareholder owning 79.15% of the shares, and non-controlling shareholder claiming another 20.85%. The shareholders consist of Carta Holdings Inc. of 21.06%, Ocean Capital Inc. of 11.1%, Fintech Business of 9.88%, KK Investments Holdings Pte. of 8.68%, Relo Club Limited of 7.51%, Junichiro Waide of 20.85%, Damar Raditya of 0.19%, and the public of 20.73%.
