JAKARTA - PT Keramika Indonesia Assosiasi Tbk (KIAS) acquires a loan of IDR 30 billion for ceramic business line expansion. The transaction value is below 20% of total equity of KIAS as of September 2023, which was recorded at IDR 810.36 billion.

In the information disclosure quoted Monday (18/12), it is said that KIAS secures this loan facility from PT Kia Keramik Mas (KKM), its subsidiary with 99.21% ownership. Its portion consists of series A of 4.50% of total 2.92 billion shares and series B of 94.71%, while the remainder goes to SCG Cement Building Materials Co Ltd, in a form of series A shares of 0.79%.

Until November 30, 2023, KIAS’s shares were reported at 14.92 billion, with shareholder structure consisting of SCG Decor Public Company Limited of 92.04% and public investors of 7.96%.

In September 2023, the company booked revenue of IDR 405.52 billion, slowing down from IDR 478.77 billion seen in the same period last year. Its gross loss was IDR 27.58 billion, while in Q3 2022, the gross profit was still at IDR 20.62 billion.

The cash is recorded at IDR 47.26 billion, while total assets clock up to IDR 1.01 trillion, and total liabilities reached IDR 208.43 billion. (LK/ZH)
