Waskita Karya to channel another IDR 33.99 billion to Trans Jabar Tol
JAKARTA. PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk (WSKT) has once again channelled extra capital of IDR 33.99 billion to one of its subsidiaries, PT Trans Jabar Tol (TJT).
Said extra capital is given by WSKT through another subsidiary, PT Waskita Toll Road (WTR). “TJT is a subsidiary of WTR with 99.99% ownership," said the management of WSKT in the official statement.
The reason behind this extra capital injection is to cover financing needs of TJT. "With this capital increase from WTR to TJT, it is expected to optimize its business activities and generate added value to the company as WTR's shareholder," added the management.
According to IDNFinancials data, WSKT had previously granted added capital worth IDR 132.93 billion to TJT, which was also utilised to meet financing needs of TJT.
For the record, TJT is a company engaged in the toll road business established in 2007. TJT acquires a toll road business license for Bogor-Ciawi-Sukabumi route with concession period of 45 years. (KR/ZH)
