JAYA grants IDR 3.15 billion loan to subsidiary
JAKARTA. PT Armada Berjaya Trans Tbk (JAYA) has reportedly given a loan facility worth IDR 3.15 billion to its subsidiary, PT Aman Bae Perkasa (ABP), on December 26, 2023.
This transaction is considered an affiliate transaction, as JAYA is the listed major shareholder of ABP, controlling 99.99% of paid-up capital of ABP.
“This affiliate transaction has no conflict of interest,” said Darmawan Suryadi SM, President Director of JAYA, in a written statement through information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) today (27/12).
Through this shareholder loan transaction, JAYA assists ABP to meet its working capital needs.
“With this affiliate transaction, ABP, as a subsidiary of the company, is expected to be able to optimise its business performance, as well as contributing and providing added value to the company, as ABP’s shareholder,” Suryadi continued.
Until September 2023, JAYA recorded cash on hand and in banks of IDR 8.66 billion. In addition, its total assets were recorded at IDR 166.4 billion, while its total equity reached IDR 124.12 billion. (ZH)
