JAKARTA. PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk (BPII) has increased the issued and paid-up capital following extra capital investment of 23% in PT Arto Investama Pramathana (ARTO).

Rudi Setiadi Tjahjono, Director of BPII, said that this extra capital is given in relation to ARTO's working capital increase. After the capital raise, BPII's total capital investment in ARTO rises to IDR 16.79 billion. 

The capital raise is not categorised as material transaction, as the value is only 0.36% of total consolidated equity of BPII. "It is not a material transaction as stated in Regulation of Financial Services Authority No.17/POJK.04/2020,” added Tjahjono in the official disclosure.

According to IDNFinancials data, BPII booked cash and cash equivalent of IDR 372.48 billion as of September 30, 2023. Its total assets were recorded at IDR 3.52 trillion, and its total equity reached IDR 1.63 trillion. (KR/ZH)
