MKNT divests its business unit for IDR 24.44 billion
JAKARTA. PT Mitra Komunikasi Nusantara Tbk (MKNT), a telecommunication product trading company, has sold one of its business unit, PT Catalist Integra Prima Sukses (CIPS).
This business unit, owned by MKNT through PT Digifast Kreasi Indonesia (DKI), is transferred to PT Digital Kreatif Investama (DK Investama). For the record, DKI and DK Investama were not affiliated by the time the transfer of CIPS’s shares took place.
The deed of shares acquisition of CIPS was signed by DKI and DK Investama on December 15, 2023. In this deed, the number of CIPS’s shares sold by DKI is said to reach 344,375 shares valued at IDR 100,000 each.
“The company expects that the restructuring carried out through this transaction (CIPS’s shares transfer) may improve the company’s financial performance,” said the management of MKNT in the official disclosure.
After the divestment, DK Investama controls 85% of CIPS. The remaining 15% of CIPS belongs to Arifindo Fimma Utama. (KR/ZH)
