Raking in IDR 21.75 trillion from SUN auction, gov’t to set up state sukuk auction
JAKARTA. Indonesian government will hold an auction of 7 series of Government Sharia Securities (lit. Surat Berharga Syariah Negara/SBSN) or State Sukuk with an indicative target of IDR 12 trillion on January 9, 2024.
There will be 7 series of state sukuk to be offered. This sukuk consists of 2 series of Government Sharia Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara – Syariah/SPNS) and 5 series of Project-Based Sukuk (PBS).
The yield offered for SPNS series is in the form of discount. Meanwhile, the yield attached to PBS ranges from 4.87% to 6.87%.
Prior to this, yesterday (3/1), the Indonesian government has held an auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN). In this auction, there were also 7 series of SUN featured in the auction.
The total incoming bids of last SUN auction reached IDR 39.8 billion. Meanwhile, the total awarded amount clocked up to IDR 21.75 trillion. (KR/ZH)
