JAKARTA. PT Multisarana Intan Eduka Tbk (MSIE) has acquired PT Surya Kebenaran Nusantara (SKN), a business entity owned by the shareholder of the company.

The management of MSIE mentions that the SKN’s shares that are acquired is equal to 99.97%. For more detail, 57.14% of SKN is acquired by the company from Imanuel Herman Prawiromaruto (IHP), while another 28.57% is taken over from Suzanna Rosa Prawiromaruto (SRP), and 14.29% from Swandriyani Hudianto (SH).

According to IDNFinancials data, SKN’s shareholders are also the shareholders of MSIE. Therefore, this acquisition is categorised as affiliate transactions as regulated by Financial Services Authority (OJK).

The price agreed upon between MSIE and three of its shareholders is IDR 2.17 billion. After this acquisition, SKN will be the first subsidiary directly owned by the company, sporting ownership portion of 99.97%.

As informed through IDNFinancials before, MSIE had announced the plan of land acquisition in August 2023. The sought-out land is located in Tawangmangu and Ubud, and it will be leased back by the company. (KR/ZH)
