In need of capital, Pegadaian to issue bonds of IDR 791.8 billion
JAKARTA. PT Pegadaian (Persero), a state-owned pawnbroker, will issue its Shelf-Registration Bonds V Phase V Year 2024 with a total principal of IDR 791.8 billion.
Said bonds are included in the Public Offering of Shelf-Registration Bonds V of Pegadaian, targeting total proceeds of IDR 12 trillion. Before this, the company has issued 4 sets of bonds since 2022, recording total principal of IDR 9.33 trillion.
For this Phase V Year 2024 Bonds, Pegadaian will offer bonds in two series. Series A will be offered with total principal of IDR 590.61 billion and coupon of 6.20% per annum, while series B will be offered for IDR 201.19 billion with the same coupon rate. The tenor for series A and B is 370 days and 3 years, respectively.
In the issued prospectus, Pegadaian will utilise all proceeds of bonds’ issuance to enhance its financing working capital.
Pegadaian has secured an “idAAA” rating from Pefindo for these upcoming bonds. The public offering of bonds is scheduled to take place from January 30 to February 1, 2024. Then, the listing of bonds on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) will follow on February 7, 2024.
The assigned underwriters include PT BCA Sekuritas, PT BNI Sekuritas, PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas, PT Mandiri Sekuritas, and PT Indo Premier Sekuritas. Furthermore, the appointed trustee is PT Bank Mega Tbk (MEGA). (KR/ZH)
