Bids received in Sukuk auction reached IDR 23.65 trillion
JAKARTA. The number of bids entered in the auction of State Sharia Securities (SBSN) on February 5, 2024 yesterday reached IDR 23.64 trillion, according to the Directorate General of Financing and Risk Management (DJPPR) of the Ministry of Finance.
Of the 7 series of state sukuk auctioned, the PBS032 series received the most attention with an incoming bid of IDR 9.21 trillion. Meanwhile, the PBS039 series became the least attractive series, with an incoming bid of IDR171 billion.
The total amount won by the Government of Indonesia in the auction was IDR11.15 trillion. This amount is slightly lower than the previously set indicative target of IDR 12 trillion.
According to idnfinancials.com data, the Indonesian government has held three state sukuk auctions since the beginning of 2024. In the first auction held on January 9, 2024, the number of incoming bids was recorded at IDR 28.3 trillion. Then in the second auction held on January 23, 2024, the number of incoming bids was recorded at IDR 23.7 trillion.
Meanwhile, the accumulated nominal won from the sukuk auction since the beginning of the year is IDR 35.15 trillion. The details are IDR 12 trillion won from the first auction, IDR 12 trillion from the second auction, and IDR 11.15 trillion from the third auction. (KR/LM)
