Indonesian gov't to seek IDR 24 trillion in next week's SUN auction
JAKARTA. The Indonesian government will hold another auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) next Wednesday (13/3), with an indicative target of IDR 24 trillion, according to Directorate General of Budget Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance.
In this auction, there will be 7 series of SUN that will be offered to the public. The details consist of 2 series of newly issued Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 FR series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).
The coupon offered for both SPN series is in the form of discounts, while the coupon offered for ON series ranges from 6.25% to 7.12%.
According to IDNFinancials data, the government had held SUN auctions five times since the beginning of this year 2024. Total awarded amount from these five auctions clock up to IDR 117.75 trillion.
The lowest incoming bids in the auction were reported at IDR 39.8 trillion, recorded on January 3, 2024. On the contrary, SUN auction on January 30, 2024, recorded the highest incoming bids of IDR 73.24 trillion. (KR/ZH)
