JAKARTA - PT Bumi Serpong Damai Tbk (BSDE) postpones its plan to issue the coupon of bond and sukuk this year in order to gain extra fund from the remaining Shelf-Registration Bond III Phase I and Shelf-Registration Sukuk I Phase I 2022.

Hermawan Wijaya, Director of BSDE, confirmed that the company does not plan to issue the remaining unissued Shelf-Registration Bond III and Shelf-Registration Sukuk I worth IDR 1.45 trillion and IDR 550 billion, respectively. “It is because the applicable coupon in the market has been very high,” he said in the information disclosure quoted Monday (18/3).

On April 7, 2022, BSDE issued Shelf-Registration Bond III Phase I 2022 of IDR 800 billion. It was split into series A of IDR 547.25 billion and series B of IDR 252.75 billion. Sukuk Ijarah I of BSDE Phase I 2022 was worth IDR 200 billion, also divided into series A of IDR 63.50 billion and series B of IDR 136.50 billion.

Prior to this, the company seeks total fresh funds of IDR 3 trillion, consisting of the coupon of Shelf-Registration Bond III of BSDE Phase I of IDR 2.25 trillion and Shelf-Registration Sukuk Ijarah I of BSDE Phase I 2022 of IDR 750 billion. (LK/ZH)
