JAKARTA - PT Energi Prima Nusantara (EPN), a subsidiary of PT United Tractors Tbk (UNTR), has acquired 257,449 shares of PT Supreme Energy Rantau Dadap (SERD) for IDR 1.25 trillion.

In the information disclosure quoted Tuesday (19/3), Sara K. Loebis, Corporate Secretary of UNTR, confirmed that EPN has signed a share sale and purchase agreement with MeriT Power Holdings BV, Axia Power Holdings BV, Tohoku Power Investment Company BV, and Inpex Geotherlmal Ltd. “EPN has acquired 163,136 units of series B shares owned by MeriT and 94,313 units of series B shares owned by Inpex in SERD,” she added.

The transaction value reaches approximately USD 80.69 million or equal to IDR 1.26 trillion on the signing date, March 5, 2024. However, the value then turns to IDR 1.25 trillion due to adjustment of financial position during the closing on March 15, 2024.

Until December 2023, UNTR collected total assets of IDR 154.02 trillion, up 9.64% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 140.47 trillion. Total liabilities were IDR 69.99 trillion, also up 37.33% yoy from IDR 50.96 trillion.

UNTR’s revenue grew to IDR 128.58 billion from IDR 123.60 billion. However, its net profit was collected at IDR 20.61 trillion, slowing down from 2022’s figure of IDR 21 trillion. (LK/ZH)
