JAKARTA - PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) scored net profit of IDR 2.78 trillion in 2023, 15.68% higher than the 2022 net profit of IDR 2.40 trillion. This profit growth is driven by efficiency and increased other income despite the declining revenue.

Based on the Financial Report of 2023 quoted today (21/3), Haryanto Adikoesoemo, President Director of AKRA, mentioned that total revenue clocked up to IDR 42.08 trillion, down 11.47% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 47.53 trillion in 2022. Significant decline in its total revenue was spotted at user contract segment, down 11.53% yoy to IDR 41.81 trillion from IDR 47.26 trillion. It was followed by lease income, which shrank from IDR 270.56 billion to IDR 269.52 billion.

Its gross profit was recorded at IDR 4.47 trillion, down from IDR 4.25 trillion. However, the operating profit reached IDR 3.56 trillion, up 15.35% yoy from IDR 3.08 trillion, resulted from increases in gains from fixed asset divestment, foreign exchange, and other operating income. (LK/ZH)
