Scoring billions from IPO, RSCH still struggled with loss
JAKARTA. PT Charlie Hospital Semarang Tbk (RSCH), a health provider company, recorded a loss of IDR 1.11 billion in 2023.
This company, under Wahyu Agung Group, has actually received extra capital of IDR 60.95 billion in its initial public offering (IPO) held last August 2023.
However, for the record, RSCH’s loss in 2023 was indeed less severe than the performance seen in the previous year, in which the company booked a loss of IDR 7.35 billion. RSCH’s improvement in 2023 was due to the positive shift in revenue.
According to the recently released financial report, RSCH’s revenue grew 27.6% year-on-year (yoy) to IDR 42.16 billion. Meanwhile, in 2022, the company only scored IDR 33.03 billion of revenue.
At the end of 2023, total assets of RSCH grew 69.7% yoy to IDR 154.43 billion. Then, its total equity tripled to IDR 150.45 billion.
As of now, 79.43% of RSCH is controlled by PT Wahyu Agung. Retail investors share another 20%, while the small remaining portion is split among some of the directors and commissioners. (KR/ZH)
