JAKARTA - PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA), the parent issuer that operates in the metal ore mining industry, held Private Placement Phase I in March. On Tuesday, March 26, as a result of this corporate action, several major MDKA investors noticed a decrease in their share portion, though the number of shares owned did not change.

First, PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk, which previously owned 18.82% of the shares (with 4.53 billion shares), now controls only about 18.54%. PT Mitra Daya Mustika, which owns 2.90 billion shares, also saw a decline, from 12.06% to 11.88%. Individual investor Boy Thohir experienced a decline from 7.46% to 7.35%, despite still owning 1.79 billion shares. Finally, PT. Suwarna Arta Mandiri, which owns 1.34 billion MDKA shares, saw its share percentage drop from 5.59% to 5.51%.

The following news came from PT Sawit Sumbermas Sarana Tbk (SSMS), a palm oil company in Pangkalan Bun, Central Kalimantan. Investor PT Putra Borneo Agro Lestari sold nearly 170 million SSMS shares, lowering its ownership to 9.74%. PT Bio Permai also sold 350 thousand shares of logistics and shipping company PT IMC Pelita Logistik Tbk (PSSI), followed by the sale of 5.58 million shares of an issuer engaged in foundations and land improvement, PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR), by an individual investor, Tan John Tanuwijaya.

Then, foreign investor GOTO Peopleverse Fund continued to sell shares of digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), this time for 10.03 million, followed by Citibank Singapore S/A Government of Singapore, which sold nearly 5 million shares of telecommunications infrastructure provider PT Dayamitra Telekomunikasi Tbk (MTEL). Meanwhile, foreign investor Taiheiyo Cement Corporation increased its stake in the building materials company PT Solusi Bangun Indonesia Tbk (SMCB) by 207,500 shares.
