Recently debuting, Asri Karya Lestari announces net profit surge of 5.55%
JAKARTA. PT Asri Karya Lestari Tbk (ASLI), a building construction debuting on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) earlier this year, reported its net profit to reach IDR 19 billion the in the fiscal year 2023.
This number is 5.55% year-on-year (yoy) higher, as in 2022, its net profit only reached IDR 18 billion.
ASLI’s net profit growth is possible due to its revenue increase, that reached IDR 173 billion, or up 2.4% yoy from IDR 169 billion seen in the previous year.
H. Sudjatmiko, President Director of ASLI, mentioned that the company’s performance growth is further supported by the portfolio of projects commissioned by several renowned companies in the infrastructure sector. For example, in 2023, the company is entrusted with the construction of Flyover Boulevard Kota Deltamas, Bekasi, and Overpass KM71+100 of Cipularang Toll.
“These projects indirectly drive the financial performance of the company,” said Sudjatmiko in the official release.
Sudjatmiko further said that ASLI will continue to actively participate in the Nusantara Capital City (IKN) projects in the future. The company has now obtained several contracts for IKN projects, including the construction of IKN Toll Road, namely the Jembatan Pulau Balang segment and Karangjoang – KTT Karinagu segment. (KR/ZH)
