JCI weakens after a long holiday
JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) was seen weakening during the opening bell at 9 AM WIB today (16/4). The last closing position, on April 5, was recorded at 7,786.88.
Monitoring JCI, until 9.44 AM WIB, JCI was at 7,152.23, slightly improving from the opening at 7,103.51. However, it was actually higher at 9.25 AM WIB at 7,177.31, before sliding down to 7,152.23.
Other indexes were seen spotted at the red zone on the first day after a long Eid holiday. They include LQ45 that sported -2.27% shift to 941.821. IDX30 of -2.28% to 477.034, IDX80 down 1.87% to 130.486, and IDXESGL of -2.25% to 155.416.
Two weeks ago, on April 5, JCI was seen increasing to 7,286.88 at the closing bell. It hit the lowest at 7,239.27, and peaked at 7,198.85. (LK/ZH)
