Indonesian gov’t eyes IDR 23 trillion in next week’s SUN auction
JAKARTA. Indonesian government will hold another round of auction of Government Securities (lit. Surat Utang Negara/SUN) next Tuesday (30/4) with an indicative target of IDR 23 trillion.
There are 7 series of SUN offered in the upcoming auction, according to the official statement of Directorate-General of Budget Financing and Risk Management of the Ministry of Finance. They consist of 2 series of Government Treasury Notes (lit. Surat Perbendaharaan Negara/SPN) and 5 series of Government Bonds (lit. Obligasi Negara/ON).
The yields offered alongside both SPN series are in the form of a discount, while the yields for 5 ON series ranges from 6.62% to 7.12%.
SUN auction will adopt the auction system of Bank Indonesia. All interested parties may submit their bids in the auction through primary dealers authorised by the Ministry of Finance.
According to IDNFinancials data, the Indonesian government had conducted 7 SUN auctions since the beginning of 2024. All these auctions will be held throughout the first quarter, with total awarded amount of IDR 164.35 trillion. (KR/ZH)
