Mandiri Coal to allocate dividend of USD 151.2 million, down 55.8%
JAKARTA – Total dividend of PT Prima Andalan Mandiri Tbk (MCOL) shrank 55.82% to USD 151.20 million in 2023 from USD 235.70 million allocated in 2022. The decrease of this issuer’s dividend, widely known as Mandiri Coal, is due to 54.65% year-on-year (yoy) decline in net profit.
In the information disclosure quoted Monday (29/4), Jeanny Pratiwi, Head of Corporate Secretary of Mandiri Coal, confirmed that the company is allocating total dividend of USD 151.20 million or equal to IDR 2.45 trillion, with exchange rate of IDR 16,208 per USD.
The total dividend consists of interim dividend of USD 56.87 million or IDR 921.82 billion, paid on December 7, 2023. The remaining USD 94.32 million or IDR 1.52 trillion will be channelled to shareholders on May 27, 2024.
The dividend allocation refers to net profit attributable to the parent entity od USD 227.82 million, unrestricted retained earnings of USD 422.13 million, and total equity of USD 585.66 million in 2023.
The cum and dividend in the regular and negotiation market is set to May 7-8, followed by the cum and ex dividend in the cash market on May 13-14, while the payment will be made referring to the recording date on May 13.
For the fiscal year 2022, the total cash dividend clocked up to USD 156.44 million or IDR 2.33 trillion with currency rate of IDR 14,773 per USD, and interim dividend of USD 79.25 million paid on December 14, 2022.
At that time, the net profit attributable to the parent entity arrived at USD 352.34 million, while retained earnings were USD 409.38 million, and total equity USD 566.69 million. (LK/ZH)
