Woori Bank invests another 6.11 billion shares in Bank Woori Saudara (SDRA)
JAKARTA - On Tuesday, April 30, the controller of PT Bank Woori Saudara Indonesia 1906 Tbk (SDRA), Woori Bank of South Korea, strengthened its control by investing an additional 6.11 billion shares. This transaction, which involved PT Kiwoom Sekuritas Indonesia, increased Woori Bank's shareholding from 84.2% to 90.78%. Two of the investors in PT Metropolitan Land Tbk (MTLA), a development company, also traded some of its shares. PT Yulie Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk released 48.89 million MTLA shares, which individual investor Magnus Jaya quickly took over.
The corporate rights issue of the pharmaceutical company PT Pyridam Farma Tbk (PYFA) caused two large investors' stake to fall. Rejuve Global Investment Pte Ltd, a foreign investor with 4.94 billion shares, previously controlled 71.74%, but now owns only about 68.5%. Aside from that, PT Aldiracita Sekuritas Indonesia, which owned 5.44% of PYFA, now controls only about 5.2% of the shares. Furthermore, Deputy Attorney General on Special Criminal of the Attorney General's Office of the Republic of Indonesia released 43.78 million shares of PT Totalindo Eka Persada Tbk (TOPS), a building construction company. Also, individual investor Tan John Tanuwijaya sold 9.07 million shares of an issuer specializing in the foundation, PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR).
On the other hand, the coal mining holding company PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID) continues to buy back shares, this time totaling 10 million shares. Lo Kheng Hong, a well-known individual investor, also bought shares of two issuers at the same time: 550 thousand shares of tire manufacturer PT Gajah Tunggal Tbk (GJTL) and 180 thousand shares of investment company PT ABM Investama Tbk (ABMM).
