Lawson Indonesia to gain extra capital of IDR 70 billion
JAKARTA. PT Lancar Wiguna Sejahtera (LWS), a subsidiary of PT Midi Utama Indonesia Tbk (MIDI) that operates Lawson in Indonesia, receives another extra capital of IDR 70 billion.
In the information disclosure in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the capital injection is given alongside the increase of issued and paid-up capital of LWS worth IDR 100 billion. “It will be taken over proportionally by the company and other shareholders,” said the management of MIDI.
The capital injection given by MIDI to LWS is IDR 70 billion, which is equal to MIDI’s portion in LWS, reaching 70%.
“Transaction is conducted in order to maintain the percentage of ownership in LWS,” added the management of MIDI.
MIDI remains as the controlling shareholder of LWS. So are other shareholders, such as PT Amanda Cipta Persada with 20.34%, PT Cakrawala Mulia Prima of 4.83%, and PT Perkasa Internusa Mandiri and 4.83%.
Until 3.49 PM WIB, MIDI’s stock price went down 2 points or 0.51% to IDR 390 per share. The stock price has also gone down 32 points or 7.58% since the beginning of this year, although it has increased 50.66 points or 14.93% within the past year. (KR/ZH)
