Bank UOB Indonesia seeks fresh funds of IDR 200 billion through bond issuance
JAKARTA. PT Bank UOB Indonesia, a branch of United Overseas Bank in Indonesia, will initiate the issuance of Shelf-Registration Bond IV Phase I Year 2024 and Subordinated Shelf-Registration Bond IV Phase I Year 2024 with total principal of IDR 200 billion.
The principal of both bond sets totals IDR 100 billion each. Shelf-Registration Bond IV Phase I Year 2024 will be issued in three series, while Subordinated Shelf-Registration Bond IV Phase I Year 2024 will only be issued in one series.
In the published prospectus, Bank UOB Indonesia is said to allocate all proceeds of bond issuance to credit disbursement capital.
Bank UOB Indonesia has assigned PT Indo Premier Sekuritas and PT UOB Kay Hian Sekuritas as lead underwriter for both bond sets. Meanwhile, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) is named as the trustee.
The initial offering period of bonds issued by Bank UOB Indonesia will take place from May 28 to June 6, 2024. The electronic distribution of the bonds will follow on June 26, 2024, while the listing on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is set to June 27, 2024.
Until the end of 2023, Bank UOB Indonesia reported total assets of IDR 162.55 trillion and total equity of IDR 17.6 trillion. Its assets grew 17.55% in 2023 compared to 2022. (KR/ZH)
