PGEO’s dividend up 328%
JAKARTA – The dividend of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) for the fiscal year (FY) 2023 soared 328% compared to FY 2022 allocation. This is the second dividend distributed by the company since its debut in February 2023.
Kitty Andhora, Corporate Secretary of PGEO, mentioned that the shareholder agreed upon total dividend of USD 128.40 million or IDR 47.77 per share. The dividend will be paid on June 28, referring to the names on Official Register of Shareholders as of June 7.
The cum and ex dividend date in the regular and negotiation market is set to June 5 and 6, followed by the cum and ex dividend date in the cash market on June 7 and 10.
The total dividend is equal to 78.48% of total net profit attributable to the parent entity of USD 163.59 million. Retained earnings and total equity were recorded at USD 166.02 million and USD 1.97 billion.
In 2022, this state-owned company distributed dividend of USD 30 million or IDR 10.87 per share, equal to approximately 23.55% of net profit attributable to the parent entity in 2022 of USD 127.34 million. At that time, retained earnings and total equity were at USD 57.37 million and USD 1.25 billion. (LK/ZH)
