JAKARTA. PT Millennium Pharmacon Tbk (SDPC), a retailer of pharmaceutical product and medical devices, will distribute cash dividend of IDR 2.5 per share or IDR 3.18 billion in total.

Mohammad Fazly bin Hasan, Director of SDPC, mentioned that this cash dividend that will be distributed is equal to 9.63% of its net profit in 2023. The net profit generated by the company in 2023 was IDR 33.08 billion.

The cash dividend will be given back to SDPC’s shareholders whose names have been listed by the recording date on June 12, 2024, followed by the payment due July 5, 2024.

According to IDNFinancials data, the dividend per share distributed by SDPC for the fiscal year (FY) 2023 is the highest in 5 years. The company paid out dividend of IDR 1 per share in FY 2019, IDR 0.5 per share in FY 2020, IDR 1 per share again in FY 2021, and IDR 2 per share in FY 2022.

At the end of first session today (5/6), SDPC’s price was closed at IDR 137 per share. Thus, the dividend yield might only reach 1.82%.

Until April 30, 2024, Pharmaniaga International remained as the controlling shareholder of SDPC with stock portion of 73.43%. PT Danpac Pharma owned another 9.72%, while public investors shared the remaining 16.85%. (KR/ZH)
