JAKARTA - On Tuesday, June 4, market hints began with PT Megapratama Karya Persada purchasing 1.35 billion shares of health service provider PT Siloam International Hospitals Tbk (SILO). Following the completion of the transaction facilitated by PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia, this new investor received an immediate share ownership of 10.4%. On the other hand, the controller of PT Hotel Candi Baru made a large-scale share reduction by selling 7.84 billion shares of the herbal medicine and pharmaceutical company PT Industri Jamu Dan Farmasi Sido Muncul Tbk (SIDO). This investor previously owned 68.14% but now only owns approximately 42%.

Furthermore, PT Arthakencana Rayatama acquired approximately 7.68 million shares of fuel oil distributor PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA). Hansep Jap then purchased 5 million shares of disposable glove manufacturer PT Haloni Jane (HALO), slightly increasing its shareholding from 80.3% to 80.38%. Corporate action in the form of share buybacks was still preferred by mining holding company PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), with 5 million shares, and cement producer PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk (INTP), with 2.86 million.

Meanwhile, PT Majukarya Mandiri Indonesia sold 51.80 million shares of PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL), a domestic and foreign shipping issuer, via four securities companies. It was followed by the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes at the Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Indonesia selling 50.68 million shares of the building construction company PT Totalindo Eka Persada Tbk (TOPS) and Tan John Tanuwijaya selling 28.12 million shares of the specialized foundation company PT Berdikari Pondasi Perkasa Tbk (BDKR). Finally, approximately 1.28 million shares of financial services provider PT Sinar Mas Multiartha Tbk (SMMA) were sold by its controller, PT Sinar Mas Cakrawala. (KD)
