Foreign buy volume failed to reach 2 billion, net foreign volume closed at 449.64 million shares
JAKARTA - Foreign share purchases on Friday, June 7, fell short of 2 billion shares, hovering around 1.94 billion shares. Meanwhile, foreign selling volume was 2.39 billion shares, resulting in a net foreign volume of -449.64 million shares. Following the sale of 265.03 million shares, the banking business PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) had the greatest net volume in the top sell list at -204.73 million shares.
Aside from that, shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) had the highest selling volume at 876.70 million shares, with a net volume of -195.68 million shares. Around 45.74 million shares of the energy resources infrastructure company PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) were then sold with a net volume of -45.05 million shares. In the coal mining industry, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares were sold for 50.94 million shares, with a net volume of -40.17 million shares. Furthermore, shares of PT Cikarang Listrindo Tbk (POWR), a private electrical service provider, were sold for 20.58 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -19.35 million shares.
On the top buy list, foreign investors began by purchasing 28.09 million shares of PT Ace Hardware Indonesia Tbk (ACES), a household goods retail company, for a net volume of 21.56 million shares. PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) shares in the telecommunications industry were also purchased for 27.82 million shares, resulting in a net volume of 18.11 million shares. Furthermore, 48.29 million shares of domestic and foreign shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) were purchased, for a net volume of 16.50 million shares. Foreign investors later purchased 15.85 million shares of advertising services firm PT Era Media Sejahtera Tbk (DOOH) and 14.45 million shares of subscription TV broadcasting services company PT MNC Sky Vision Tbk (MSKY).
