JAKARTA. PT Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS), a state-owned sharia bank, is aiming to score fresh funds of IDR 3 trillion through the issuance of Shelf-Registration Sukuk Mudharabah I Phase I Year 2024.

Said sukuk is a part of a Public Offering Program of Shelf-Registration Sukuk Mudharabah I of BRIS with total target to be collected reaching IDR 10 trillion.

In the first phase, BRIS is offering sukuk mudharabah in three series, consisting of series A with a principal worth IDR 1.7 trillion, series B of IDR 220 billion, and series C of IDR 1.08 trilion.

These three series of sukuk mudharabah is equipped with floating profit-sharing rate (equivalent), which will be paid every three months. Meanwhile, the tenor set for series A is 370 days, series B 2 years, and series C 3 years.

The public offering of Shelf-Registration Sukuk Mudharabah I Phase I Year 2024 will take place from June 11 to 12, 2024, followed by the electronic distribution of sukuk on June 14, 2024. Lastly, the listing on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) will fall on June 19, 2024.

Several joint underwriters for this sukuk mudharabah assigned by BRIS are namely PT BNI Sekuritas, PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas, PT Mandiri Sekuritas, PT Maybank Sekuritas Indonesia, PT Mega Capital Sekuritas, and PT Trimegah Sekuritas Indonesia Tbk (TRIM). (KR/ZH)
