JAKARTA. PT MPX Logistics Internasional Tbk (MPXL), a transportation and logistics company, adds 50 new trucks into its fleet to accommodate the surge in demands from coals and construction segments.

James S. Chandra, Corporate Secretary of MPXL, mentioned that this fleet of trucks consists of 30 units of tronton trucks Hi-Blow HINO FL 280 JW and 20 units of tronton trucks Hi-Blow HINO FM 280 JW.

“This acquisition is carried out following a surge in demands for transporting coal waste from PLTU, as well as for bulk cement for mega project IKN,” said Chanra in the official statement.

For the record, this fleet acquisition is funded by a financial institution, although the contract value agreed by the company and the supplier is not publicly disclosed.

“MPXL expects that with this new flee acquisition, the company may further boost the ever-increasing market demand and enhance customer satisfaction,” added Chandra.

As of March 31, 2024, MPXL only reported cash and cash equivalent of IDR 187.18 million, while total assets clocked up to IDR 169.12 billion, and total equity reached IDR 75.55 billion. (KR/ZH)
