Absent for three years, JSPT to share dividend of IDR 23.18 billion
JAKARTA – Shareholders of PT Jakarta Setiabudi Internasional Tbk (JSPT) agreed to distribute cash dividend of IDR 23.18 billion for the fiscal year (FY) 2023. This issuer was reportedly absent from dividend distribution for three years following its three consecutive years of losses.
Asan Effendy, Corporate Secretary of JSPT, mentioned that the cash dividend will be paid to shareholders on July 24, referring to the Official Register of Shareholders as of July 2. “The dividend is set to IDR 10 per share, taken out of 2023 net profit of IDR 191.23 billion,” he said in the information disclosure quoted Monday (24/6).
In addition, the shareholders also approved the plan of allocating the remaining net profit as retained earnings, worth IDR 167.04 billion, while another IDR 1 billion was set aside as reserve funds.
In FY 2022, JSPT did not distribute any dividend after scoring a loss of IDR 45.05 billion. In FY 2021, the issuer reported even worse of a loss, of IDR 210.47 billion, and in FY 2020, it suffered a loss of IDR 143.21 billion. (LK/ZH)
