JAKARTA. PT Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk (SMIL), a forklift leasing service provider, is scheduling a dividend distribution of IDR 16.65 billion or IDR 1.8 per share taken out of net profit of 2023. 

Hadi Suhermin, President Director of SMIL, said that the cash dividend portion is equal to 19.97% of the company's 2023 net profit. "It is in accordance with the result of Annual GMS on June 28, 2024," he said in the official statement.

The cash dividend will be given to SMIL's shareholders whose names have been listed by the recording date on July 10, 2024. The cash dividend payment is due July 26, 2024. 

According to IDNFinancials data, SMIL reported net profit of IDR 83.35 billion in 2023. At the end of the year, it still held onto retained earnings of IDR 166 billion and total equity of IDR 687.02 billion.

For the record, SMIL is a newly debuted issuer in Indonesia Stock Exchange, officially listed on May 12, 2023. In its initial public offering, SMIL raised fresh funds of IDR 175 billion from 1.75 billion issued shares. (KR/ZH)
