JAKARTA - On Friday, July 5, foreign investors purchased a total of 1.53 billion shares. With only a slight difference, the foreign sales volume was 1.49 billion shares. As a result, the net foreign volume reached a surplus of 35.90 million shares. Foreign investors began the share acquisition by purchasing 184.35 million shares of the digital company PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), for a net volume of almost 69 million shares.

Aside from that, shares in the domestic and domestic shipping services company PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL) and the banking company PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI) were purchased for around 87 million shares, respectively. From these two trades, BULL's net volume was 62.59 million shares, while BMRI's was 27.90 million shares. PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI), which operates in the energy resources infrastructure sector, then had its shares purchased for 57.52 million shares, with a net volume of 41.46 million shares. In the e-commerce industry, PT Bukalapak.com Tbk (BUKA) stock was purchased for 38.86 million shares, for a net volume of 25 million shares.

On the share sale list, foreign investors were selling 159.46 million shares of telecommunications company PT Smartfren Telecom Tbk (FREN) and recording a net volume of -157.10 million shares. PT Bank KB Bukopin Tbk (BBKP) shares in the banking sector were also sold for 88.30 million shares, resulting in a net volume of -82.10 million shares. Furthermore, shares of the electric motor vehicle company PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR) were sold for nearly 37 million shares, with a net volume of -21.56 million shares, and it was followed by the sale of 24.12 million shares of the logistics and cargo company PT Samudera Indonesia Tbk (SMDR), with a net volume of -18.80 million shares. Finally, 15.78 million shares of television station company PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) were sold, resulting in a net volume of -13.03 million shares. (KD)
