JAKARTA. PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk (JSMR) has reportedly acquired 16.51 million shares or equal to 10% of PT Jasamarga Kunciran Cengkareng (JKC).

Dwimawan Heru Santoso, Acting Corporate Secretary and Chief Administration Officer of JSMR, said that this acquisition will rise the company’s portion in JKC to 88.67%. Prior to this, JSMR only owned 78.67% of JKC.

However, the value of JKC’s shares acquisition by JSMR is not disclosed. “The corporate action, in the form of shares acquisition, will not result in the change of controlling shareholder position of JKC from the company,” Santoso said.

Meanwhile, 11.01% of JKC’s shares are still under the control of PT Triputra Utama Selaras, while PT Nindya Karya has another 0.32%.

“The impact of this corporate action is optimisation of business portfolio in order to balance growth and maintain business sustainability of the company,” added Santoso in the official statement. (KR/ZH)
