JAKARTA – PT Mekar Investama Teknologi, widely known as MEKAR, forms a partnership with PT Ciptadana Multifinance to provide working capital financing alternatives for MSME players through factoring scheme.

In this collaboration, MEKAR will act as a fintech connecting creditors and debtors, while Ciptada will take the role of institutional creditor.

“In order to expand the MSME financing segment to small enterprise owners, MEKAR is now establishing a paertnership with conglomerate lenders, or financial service institutions, to enhance liquidity of financing,” added President Director of MEKAR, Pandu Aditya K., in the official statement quoted today (11/7).

Prior to this, MEKAR is known as a P2P lending platform that still focuses on micro and ultra-micro business through its collaboration with cooperative units.

On the other side of the partnership, PT Ciptadana Multifinance, a financing company under Lippo Group, claimed that this collaboration is a means to promote economy by offering a working capital financing alternatives for MSME from reliable, non-banking segment. (ZH)
